They seem to get stuck together if they get moist. I keep mine in a ziplock baggie in the cabinet next to my table sugar and flour.

It will taste much smoother if you let it condition a week or two compared to how it tastes right after you add the extract.

Built and stained 5 crates this week. Going to use similar plans to make a few to hold 22oz bottles.

Today I sanded down three wooden crates for 12oz bottles, and will be staining them tomorrow. I also checked on my american wheat that I brewed over the weekend, and my summer weizen from last weekend.

I used 2 of the magnets on the left, they are plenty strong enough. I used them on a 120MM computer fan, I can stir over 3 gallons using a 1-1/2" Length, 5/16" diameter stir bar.

I didn't know that Perlick had a chrome plated version - sounds like a good value!

When I first built my keezer, I had the cheap chrome taps. They would stick if not used often. I highly recommend the Perlicks - pay a little more up front so you don't have to worry about them in the future. I don't have any experience using a stout tap, but my standard faucets work fine...

How are you planning to mark what beer is on each tap?

I usually see kegs on craigslist for around $50. Where are you looking?
