    Flat Beer, help!

There is a little bit of carbonation, just not much. Temps. stayed pretty constant. I'll try giving a few a shake and then let them stand a week to see if that helps Primary - 1 week, Secondary - 3 weeks. There is a layer of yeast at the bottom of the bottles, about the same as there...

    Flat Beer, help!

    I'd say it'd be about 65-68oF (around 20-22oC)

    Flat Beer, help!

Tried about 6 of them so far, cause I thought that it might have been just that bottle, but they've all been flat.

    Flat Beer, help!

Beer has been in the bottles for 3-4 months now. Conditioning them at just slightly below room temperature (in the back of my closet in the storage room). Can't remember the OG of the beer, my sheets are at home and I'm at work.

    Flat Beer, help!

So after waiting 3 months to try my 2nd try at Partial Extract Brewing, my beer is flat. I'm pretty sure I didn't add enough priming sugar when I bottled it and now I'm not sure what to do. I'd really like to "rescue" this beer if possible. Is there anyway to "add" more carbonation to this beer...

what the hell was he thinking.....

He was drinking Molson Canadian, he obviously doesn't like beer cause I'd rather drink my own urine after a night of drinking "real" beers than have one of those. Honestly, I'm not sure you could do anything to Canadian to make it taste worse, heating it up might be the "secret" to making it...

    anyone use brewhouse?

I've been doing partial extracts the last few times I've made beer but this time I went back to using a brewhouse kit cause I was lazy and just wanted to get a batch of beer ready in a shorter period of time. I've "hacked" one of the brewhouse kits before, I made the Imperial Oatmeal Stout...

My First Attempt at a Partial Mash

Well, made my first attempt at a partial mash this weekend. Went better than expected but I did have a few problems. I had two boil overs, holy crap, does that ever happen quickly. One second it's all good the next there is beer going everywhere. Need to pick up a spray bottle so I can better...

    Anyone GeoCache?

I've been doing it off and on for years. I tend to do it more often when I can't get out hiking or backpacking. I do sometimes look for ones in the areas I'm camping in. As far as GPSs go, it all depends on who you talk to, as far as preferences. Do your own research, maybe rent/borrow a couple...

Need help finding Bayou Classic's burner in Canada

They do have another one at Canadian Tire that's considerably more sturdy. Looks to made out of stainless steel and I think it got 75K BTUs. I can't find it on their website but I know they have it because I've seen it, in at least 3 stores here in Vancouver.

Need help finding Bayou Classic's burner in Canada

You can find propane burners at Canadian Tire Canadian Tire They have another one there as well that I couldn't find on their website but I know it's there because I've seen it. It has more BTUs than this one but doesn't come with the pot or anything, it's just the burner itself.

How to make Pumpkin Beer in a Pumpkin

Brewing Pumpkin Beer in a Pumpkin Definitely a creative way to make pumpkin beer. Though I'm not sure I'd want to drink pumpkin beer it certainly seems popular.

    anyone use brewhouse?

I find that if I pull on it really hard and use just the right combination of swear words it comes off with minimal spillage. The problem is, is I never remember what the right combination of swear words to use the next time I'm trying to open one of the them.

    Favorite Commercial Brews

For mainstream beers, I like Alexander Keith's, both the IPA and the Red. I'm a big fan of Young's Double Chocolate Stout. I also really like Okanagan Springs Porter.

    anyone use brewhouse?

Well, we drank quite a few of the Russian Imperial Oatmeal Stouts, on Saturday night. They turned out fantastic! They are seriously drinkable, and finished off at about 9.6% ABV. Quite a few of my friends brought commercial beers to the party, and left those in my fridge and spent the evening...

After Only 4 Batches I have an Investor? WAH?

So don't sell them beer, sell them memberships in a social club or beer admiration society. Provide the beer absolutely free as a bonus for showing up at club meetings.
