The cure for your short hose troubles

Thanks. Was about to depress the keg and put some in the dip tube when I realized there was maybe 1 gal left. I'll wait until it's kicked.

The cure for your short hose troubles

I put one in the shank on a Wit pressurized to 17psig. Foams even worse now. Using 5' of 3/16" line from Kegconnection with a Perlick 525SS. Poured three straight glasses of foam.

Firestone Walker Pale 31 / Pale Ale Clone

Found this old thread and giving it a shot tomorrow. Will let you all know how it turns out. I think the dry hopping quantities may be a bit heavy though. Will scale back to 1 oz of each (Centennial, Chinook, and Cascade). EDIT: Even 1 oz of each sounds like a bit much for dry hopping. How...

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I *think* my starter was sufficient.

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

Whoops. Got 75% efficiency which gave an OG of 1.060. Hope the 1/2L starter I made is sufficient.

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

My kegs are full, any reason not to bottle this? Also, do the 1/2 lb of rice hulls need to be washed & rinsed prior to mixing with the dry/milled grains?

New Items @ LOW Introductory Prices - Kegconnection.com

No need. But that would be useful info to include with your fridge conversion kits. I just made sure the holes were level, but didn't bother to measure spacing.

Is there a standard spacing between taps? I must have missed that memo. :drunk:

Any chance you can do custom spacing for the holes on the drip tray?

Witbier OhioBrewtus' Hoegaarden Clone - (AG)

Just kegged after 2 weeks in primary. FG was 1.010. Smell and color were dead on, but the taste was a bit bitter. I'm really hoping that dies off after a couple weeks in the keg, otherwise I wonder if subbing sweet orange peel would "fix" that. Maybe the orange extract, which I omitted, is...

Saison Nelson Sauvin Dry Hopped Saison

Can anyone recommend a White Labs yeast for this? Looks like WLP670 is the best bet: http://www.whitelabs.com/beer/strains_wlp670.html

American Pale Ale Da Yooper's House Pale Ale

Kegged yesterday after a week of dry hopping. FG was 1.014. Sample tasted great, malty sweetness to start, finished with a mild hoppy bitterness. Neither flavor was overpowering. Can't wait to start drinking it.

    Used liquor barrels

What's a good use for a rum or brandy barrel? I can think of a few for whiskey, but rum and brandy have me stumped.

Witbier OhioBrewtus' Hoegaarden Clone - (AG)

Brewed this yesterday. Used hallertau, wlp400, and skipped the orange extract. Happily bubbling away in the carboy now. OG was 1.051. Thanks for the recipe.
