    I'm doing this same kit. I am planning on letting it go in a primary only for 4 wks. Then planning to bottle. I will be curious to hear how it turns out for you. Mines been in two weeks (8/18/12) brew date.

    Not carbonating?

    Maybe someone can speak to the ferment temp and how that could effect things? Hope it carbs up for you. I did a 3 wk primary only ferment then bottled. Tried one at 1 week to make sure it carbed up. Sorry I'm not more help.

    Did you boil the priming sugar and mix into your beer before bottling?

    A little more info on your process would be helpful. I brewed the same kit and had good carb at one week.

    Ok, I cheated!

    I bottled my first batch last weekend and I'm anything but patient. So, got up this AM and put two in the fridge for sampling this afternoon. They were pretty good! Can't wait till they reach peak. I did a Summer Ale.

    Just put my second batch of home brew into the primary. Bottled my first last week. It is a summer ale. My second is a Pumpkin Spice Porter.

    I plan to get another going maybe as early as next weekend. I did try the sample. It was really good for flat beer. Now I really can't wait till it carbs up.
