    BIAB 2.5 Gallon batches

I do slightly larger BIAB stovetop batches. Typically start with around 3.5 gallons of water. I bought a 4 gallon Vigor stainless steel pot from some restaurant supply website. It is a beautiful pot, nice heavy bottom and it's the best pot that would fit my stove top - it's a bit narrower and...

    Fruit Concentrate Source

I did a few searches on here and couldn't find anything about this. Has anyone heard of colomafrozen.com? They offer a plethora of fruit concentrates, and list what Brix it was concentrated too. Seems like everything is 100% fruit, no preservatives. It is a bit on the pricy side, looks like...

Schwarzbier - Examples in the Midwest

I have a BYO magazine that has a schwarzbier recipe in it. I'll post it here tomorrow. I haven't made it, but schwarzbiers are one of my favorite styles to drink. Nightmare Cyclist by Solemn Oath brewery in Naperville was really good. 7th Evil Ex by skeleton key brewery was really good too...

    Minnesota Captain Crush Mills.

Is the new roller and hooper still available? If so, what are you hoping to get for those? Would you be willing to ship to the Madison area?

    Blichman Hellfire w/ leg extenders

    Blichman Hellfire w/ leg extenders

What state are you located in? Also, why are you selling? Is there a burner you've found to be superior?

    Don't Do That.

Don't used Wyeast 3711, then spend $40.00 on blackberries, peaches and apricot puree and expect any fruit flavors to remain. That yeast eats everything...maybe the wlp677 and bottle conditioning will make it better...fingers crossed anyways!

Anyone hear of these guys before?

I'm giving you a standing ovation for this one! You have no idea how badly I needed this laugh! Best dad joke of the year lol!!

Anyone hear of these guys before?

Yeah, it seems my google skills failed me earlier. Oh well. Glad I came to the pros!

    Omega Yeast

I'm planning a brew with OYL-200 but it won't be until after late April or Early may due to finals, using it in a nontraditional way though. I've used the OYL-061 Voss Kveik very nice light orange/citrus flavor but I fermented it around 90F. I think it can get pretty neutral when fermented...

Anyone hear of these guys before?

Yeah, no kidding. I mean, I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I am a little. Usually when see offers like that I know it's too good to be true, got a little overexcited this time haha. So glad this forum exists! Thanks again for all the info!

Anyone hear of these guys before?

Anyone hear of these guys before?

I'm just an end user, so I would just be giving the review and using products and such. That's some awesome information, I looked so hard to find out more but kept striking out. I already have a prime account and a paypal account from all sorts of things so those aren't an issue. I have no...

Anyone hear of these guys before?

I was perusing facebook, something that's increased exponentially since the quarantine and came across an advertisement for brewbrandz.com. Apparently they are a homebrewe testing and review site, where if you sign up you get free stuff to use and paid for your reviews. So anyone hear of this...

    pineapple upside down cream ale

I did not realize how old this thread was as I got far too excited when I saw this but here's what I came up with. Since the OP mentioned there wasn't much toast-y bits I added some darker grains and decided to go with an Amber base. Also upped the smoke, going for that "cooked in a dutch oven...

    pineapple upside down cream ale

I'm assuming this was for a 1 gallon batch? If so I found what I'm looking for and have a couple of ideas to mess with this...I'm in a 'lactose a beer that's not usually lactosed' challenge and have been craving some PUD cake.

Festbier Oztoberfest (1st place with score of 43!)

Well, after reading the entirety of this thread I will definitely be making this. Only question do any of you bottle? If I lager for the 60 days as OP says, will there be enough yeast left to bottle carb, or should I grab some of the cask conditioning yeast when I buy the other necessary...

    Illinois Free Grain (Chicagoland)

If you still have the grain after all this covid-19 stuff has calmed down I'll gladly take it off of your hands. I'm in Aurora (Very close to WVHS), so would have no issues picking it up for you or meeting you somewhere if you did not want to give address out. Be happy to trade you some beer.
