    Largest extract boil volume in a 7.5 gal pot?

    I have a 7.5g pot and I safely do 5g no problem. Though I'm limited to 5g boils because that's all my stovetop can handle. Anything more I can't get a good boil.

    OK...Im just trying to understand better how and when hops impart their flavor. During the boil you add your hops and you get flavor. After the boils is done,yeast is pitched and the fermenting starts...do the hops that you added during the boil continue to flavor the beer? Im not...
