I recently felt a little tingle... Now I know why...

    Motorcycle Fanatics, show your ride(s)

Broke 56,000 on this 1,300 mile weekend riding the back roads of Arkansas. Sporting my new favorite SWAG from HBT in a local biker bar.

    Gelatin with no cold crash

I always blend gelatin into a room temp beer, wait 24 hours and then cold crash. You'll see a lot of fallout in that 24 hours (or longer in your case) but the beer will get crystal clear once chilled. :mug:

    BierMunchers Rolling Kegerator (BYO Published)

Very nice @BigTuna. With that much inuslation, be prepared to be dumping a lot of ice afterwards. :mug:

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

This recipe is designed to go from grain to glass quickly. The only thing time will do is tame the centennial hops down a bit. They can be a little sharp right out of the keg, but they mellow nicely over a few weeks. But....I like to drink it sooner than later and taste the evolution. :D

American Pale Ale Nierra Sevada (Session SNPA Clone)

An S-05 slurry from a prior brew will work just fine.

Classic Style Smoked Beer Loon Lake Smoked Porter (Award Winner)

S-04 is my go to yeast. I only need one packet for a ten gallon batch. No need for a starter. Just hydrate the yeast in 8 ounces of luke warm water (and loosely cover) at the beginning of your brewing session. You'll be chugging along inside of 1 hours. Give the yeast a stir with a spoon about 2...

    Advantages to kegging?

Thanks. Yep. Just some PVC pipe. An end cap. An inverted toilet flange and some black lacquer paint. I stuffed a partially used paper towel roll down the pipe for insulation and ran the lines up the carboard tube. :mug:

    Advantages to kegging?

Just a few comments: 1) I don't own 450+ bottles to replace these 9 kegs of varying recipes. So yeah...call me lazy. 2) Again, two beers on tap is a lot more fun for me and my family and freinds around the pool on July 4th than handing out 100 bottles of beer. 3) This...

Kegging Newb - Is My Brew Screwed?

I opted to take all of my dip tubes and give them a bit sharper bend at the bottom to lift them out of the crud. It ends up getting the beer clearer faster. It's a personal preference. Nice job on your IPA by the way. :rockin:

    Alpine Nelson Clone Attempt

This is about one more misstep from being closed. One more personal affront and you'll be taking a 7 day break. Knock it off!! Go brew something for crying out loud!

American IPA BierMuncher's Outer Limits IPA

I lean heavy on Willamette when I'm short on Glacier. It's an awesome dry hop.

Merry Christmas all you crazy b@st@rds. Enjoy your families. Don't drink and drive. Savor the simplest things. Cheers!
