I have used Falconers Flight in several IPAs and an APA and I love 'em!

This looks very similar to one of my standby recipes. I also use Perle/Cascade and a similar hop schedule, although I do like to dry hop with cascade. Looks delicious!

I plan to use a combo of 1 oz Palisade and 2 oz Liberty as flavor and aroma additions in a California Common Lager. Using Perle as muy bittering hop and WLP810 yeast starter. I'll reply with my comments once it is ready.

Aside from the normal items, I LOVE my plate chiller! Boiling to 68F in 7 minutes!

I brewed a black IPA last weekend and due to time restraints, I decided to pitch a vial of WLP051 directly into primary at 64F (my basement temp and the same as fermentation temp). The yeast strain had an expiration date of May 31. 2013 (5 weeks away, but still near end of effectiveness range)...

@Kyle, did you ever make this ale using Cara Red? Just wondering. I went to my LHBS today and they were out of caramalt, which I was planning to use in an IPA, so I opted for .75# of Cara Red instead to blend with 11# 2 row.

I've been lucky enough to visit Prague, Brugges, Antwerp, Brussles, Cologne, and Munich. I still prefer West Coast Ales to most of the old world styles.
