Are you happy with your Nukatap Flow Control faucet?

A couple months ago I bought a pair of these to help better dial in my pour. However, I'm becoming increasing displeased with them. First off, I find it does very little to reduce the foam level unless you basically turn it down to a trickle. But the real problems stems from cleaning them...

    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

Ran into a small problem yesterday when my pump stopped working. Had to manual rack my wort to the fermenter. During cleaning I discovered the center pull ring on the bottom plate had come loose allowing grain to clog the drain hole. Fortunately, I was able to find the nut and two washers at the...

I'd like to stock up on some recipe kits if there are any Memorial Day sales. What vendors typically have sales?

    Warm Fermented Lager Thread

So my fan, ice blocks and wet towel was a bust. But I was able to improvise by using a portable air conditioning unit. This has been keeping my beer at a steady 64 degrees.

    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

Today during my brew I started getting this error message on the BrewZilla. I've already registered my device as this was my 8th batch and this has never happened before. When I opened up my RAPT app, which I have connected to previously, I got this error message. I went through the menu and...

    Warm Fermented Lager Thread

    Warm Fermented Lager Thread

I'm going to be brewing a lager using SafLager W-34/70. My fermintation at room temperature is about 72 degrees. What I do is place it in a shower stall in our house that isn't used. It's my most stable temperature location. What I'd like to do is put a reusable ice block on the floor with a...

Fermenting at a higher temperature than yeast's recommendation

A couple of you have mention the "warm lager thread" but I can't seem to find that. Can someone post the link to it. Thanks!

Fermenting at a higher temperature than yeast's recommendation

Interesting, they must have changed the packaging, mine gives a different ideal temperature range.

Fermenting at a higher temperature than yeast's recommendation

New brewer here with a question. My next batch of beer will be an all-grain lager using SafLager W-34/70 yeast. The package says the ideal fermentation temperature range is 53 - 64 degrees. However, my batch will be fermenting at 72 degrees. With that said, will there be adverse effect to...

I was thinking the same thing. I for one am appreciative KegLand visits this forum and tries to offer their assistance. We all know Rapt is new and some patience should be expected.

Can you please answer my question, can you run the pump at any temp or should you not use it after a particular temperature?

Taste differences between priming sugar and CO2 pressured kegs

New brewer here learning as I go. Timely topic as I've been wondering about this myself. Do I need to add sugar if I'm putting the wart into a Corny Keg with CO2 at say 30 psi? I don't mind waiting an additional 2-weeks after that for conditioning.

    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

New Gen 4 user here, I've only done a few batches. Question for Kegland, can you run the pump at any temp or should you not use it after a particular temperature? Drain Hack...seems like I'm not the only one with an issue draining. So far I've been able to transfer my wort fine, the problem...

Running the pump on Brewzilla Gen 4

I recently got one of these and love it so far..three batches. Question, is it safe to run the pump at higher temps, even at boiling? I'd like to run the pump during heat-up but don't want to damage the pump running it too hot. Can't find anything in the manual saying not do to that.
