    Rusted bottle capper

Or get a bench capper. Best money you ever spent.

Best Yeast Strain for a NEIPA?

I'm convinced you could brew a NEIPA with almost any strain. There are so many hops in there, whatever the yeast does is totally irrelevant.

Dry Yeast out there for Witbier?

I love t58, but I think you'd be unhappy with it for a wit.

    brewbucket racking and bottling process

I think most would argue that racking to any vessel other than your bottling bucket is unnecessary and introduces more oxygen. Rack directly to bottling bucket with priming sugar and proceed.

    Your most-hated song

I'm not sure if I should thank you, but I do t know any of those songs and so now I must listen to them. Akin to "taste this, it's terrible!"

    Co2 filled in MA

Awesome resource! I updated Gorham from my recent experience there (this year)

ilFornino vs Ooni Coda vs Roccbox

I seriously considered a mini oven like this, but ultimately decided I could get the extreme oven temps on my Weber grill without buying another piece of equipment. I get super puffy crust right on the grating. Haven't used the steel or stone in there yet.

    McChouffe clone attempt

As you say, that amount of hops seems small.

    McChouffe clone attempt

D180 is certainly faster. Which is a plus in my book.

    Keg Hopping?!

I've used the giant hop cylinder you linked to. It works. I'm also trying the Scot Janish / Utah biodiesel dip tube filter http://scottjanish.com/my-favorite-way-to-dry-hop-loose-in-primary-and-kegs/ I am still only on the first iteration of both. Hop cylinder was underwhelming - i got a...

    Damn you!

    Spent Grain Poll

My grains definitely go in my compost pile. They are a strong green, so you need to mix in brown to balance (leaves, etc). Wood chips will take a while to break down.

    McChouffe clone attempt

I might think about a little kettle caramelization - take the first gallon and boil down to a quart.

    Your most-hated song

Kokomo. Unfortunately, it is also the song most likely to become stuck randomly in my head.

    low quality bottle caps

I've been bottling for 13 years and never had an entirely bad batch of poor sealing caps. Not to say that this isn't possible, just adding my 156 batch data sample here. I'd look to other equipment problems. I only recently (face-palm) graduated to a bench capper. Should have bought one...

    First time bottler

This. I bottled with the damn wing capper for 12 years before I bought a bench capper. All those wasted hours ....

How much extra would you pay to support a LHBS

I live 10 min from my LHBS and am admittedly a cheap bastard. Despite that, I buy most ingredients (except hops - damned NEIPAS) from my LHBS. It's convenient, prices are not terrible and requires less planning ahead on my part. The manager is also good about running a grain discount a couple...

Thank you Anvil for making me even lazier

I also just made my first no boil. Not sure it would work for a low-hop beer, but for a NEIPA hop vehicle, it's awesome! If expensive....

New England IPA Blasphemy - No Boil NEIPA

I'm using the Scot Janish / Utah biodiesel dry hop setup for the keg. I drilled out a #6 stopper to fit my diptube. So far, so good.

Omega Saisonstein's Monster OYL-500 yeast, anyone?

I used it a while ago, but I can't say I remember anything salient about the outcome. In other words, tasted like a saison, but no remarkable characteristics. I had used 3711 quite a lot before that and was getting tired of the peppery, dry French saison. My personal preference is for more...
