    NEIPA with what I have

    Here is the recipe I posted on my facebook page 3 years ago: A pinch of malt ( remember it is a NEIPA ) , yeast: any bread baking yeast will do (remember , it is a NEIPA ) , 500 grams of maizena to get a perfect haze. Et voila .:)

    I had one last week and liked it. Of course "strong" is relative: In England anything bove 4,5 % is labeled as strong while in Belgium any beer above 10% is strong :) Anyway, I did some googling with no result. A clone recipe would be appreciated. Is it a "stock ale" ? Jacques

    Geriatric collaborative brew.

    If you are at 1000 ft/300 m the boiling temperature will be 99C/110 F. So it is normal. Could you post a picture of the boil so we can compare ?

    jake77444 , I have the 110 V unit and the graincoat. The boiling stage on the 110 V unit is far from being impressive , but it is ... boiling. I don't use the app . To do a manual test ,press on the heat button and hold for 3 seconds. The manual mode doesn't take altitude into account. Jacques
