After moving from philly, i have found that keeping beer cool is the toughest part of fermentation. Cold crashing is almost impossible! So i need glycol. Let me know if you have a line on a glycol solution. Thanks!

I was at Defalco's on saturday and they acted like there is no one inside the loop or close that will fill CO2 but them. Is that true?

Well damn. Guess there is no point in the glycol. The machine is trying to cold crash. We will see.

Right, so by essentially lowering the freezing point of the solution, it will make it easier for the machine to get the solution colder, as it is not approaching it's solid state. No?

For those of you following at home, the fermenter had dropped about 20 degrees in 12 hours. Will continue to monitor.

the appeal to me is more to clone a great beer. not make a SMaSH. Yellow rose is such a smooth drinking ipa that i want it on hand and I can easily judge my brewing ability next to a great "control" element.

So I dropped the dregs of a couple(4, but let's just say a good night) bottles into a flask with some starter wort. Everything was going well... After about a week on the stir plate and two additions of wort, it turned a dark dark color. Do I worry?
