I don't know what to make

I currently have a Raspberry Wheat, Blond Ale and Brown Ale in primary. I'm trying to decide what to make. I'm thinking something along the lighter side with summer coming up. The options I'm thinking right now are either: Kolsch Cream Ale Mirror Pond Pale Ale Clone What do you...

    Raspberry Wheat Brew

I currently have a Raspberry Wheat in Secondary. I put 2 cans of the puree in my Primary where it sat for 2 weeks. It has a very tart raspberry flavor. If I were to do it again I would put 1 can in Secondary and that would be it. 2 cans will give you a very pronounced raspberry flavor.

Starting a new brew this week and...

I believe it's the same company. Both are sterilized and you should be fine. I just used the Vintner's Harvest in a Raspberry Wheat. It's still in Primary so I'm not sure how it's going to turn out.

Second Brew seems messed up! Help!

I don't think you have much to worry about yet. Only question I have is if it's sitting on a hard floor or carpeted floor? If hard I'd put a towel under it or raise it off the ground. From what I heard if the floor is hard and cold it'll transfer into the primary.

    a few questions

The only trick to leaving your primary alone is to have stuff in the pipeline. You just have to learn to leave it alone and trust that it's doing what it's supposed to.

    First Primary Only Attempt

Glad you asked this. I was wondering this myself. I have a blond ale coming up on 2 weeks and I broke down and took a reading last night. Of course I sanitized the hell out of everything. Active fermentation is definitely done. At this point I'm just going to let it sit and do it's thing...

Citra Pale Ale - Boil Pot (not Aluminum)

Is this the kit from AHS? If so, please let me know how it turns out.

    Wait, its still bubblin'??

As long as it's sanitized it shouldn't be an issue.

    What a brew day!

Was the Star San properly diluted with water or was it a straight 1/4 - 1/2 gallon of Star San? If already diluted I wouldn't be overly concerned.

    secondary or not

Yes, just leave it in the primary. Most seem to keep the batch in primary for 3-4 weeks around here.

    AHS Hefe?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Just make sure to clean and sanitize everything. I have done 3 extract kits from AHS and they have all been easy. I haven't done their Hefe but have done the American Wheat that they have. I currently have it in primary and will go straight to bottling since...

    AHS Blue Moon Clone Question

Never brewed it but it's definitely one I'm interested in. You may just want to give them a call or shoot them an email. Let us know how it turns out.

    I made it 4 days

Before I cracked and too a gravity reading on my Raspberry Wheat. Then of course I had to taste the sample. Oh my, it was good. This should turn out really nice once done.

    It's a sickness

And so it continues. With the Kegcowboy coupon above I ordered the parts to convert my kegerator over to the corny kegs. Once I have that I'll be kegging some and bottling some.

Easiest type of beer to brew for your first batch

I just did the Texas Blond Ale from Austin Home Brew and it was super easy. I've also done their American Wheat which was easy too.

    It's a sickness

I have 2 batches fermenting right now. I just ordered a 3rd bucket so I can start another batch. That is all.

OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! As you read this im starting my first brew ever!

You'll be fine with the Starsan mixture. It'll dry your hands out some but that's it. Just wash your pot well and you'll be good to go.
