Yes, I use a stir plate and I also live in Singapore (one degree north of the equator=hot as hell). I am thinking about putting the yeast starter and my stir plate in the temp controlled fermenter frig. I am not sure if the high heat is creating too many ester or immature yeast cells.

Has anyone proporgated yeast in 90 degree room? Is so what was the effect on the beer. I am trying to diagnose off flavors and this is where I think it i went wrong. My IPA tastes like a belgium.

I use a one gallon spray bottle with BLC then starsan for the taps and oxyclean and starsan for the kegs. I used to spray starsan up the faucet at the end of an evening and put the black cap on it.
