    60 minute boil with Pilsner? Not concerned with DMS? I assume if I did a 90 minute boil with this, my FWH would just be 60 minute additions?

    I brewed an American IPA a week ago and set my wort chiller to go. Apparently my digital thermometer was off. It read 80 so I tranferred it to the fermenter. But my fermometer, which goes up to 78, didn't have a reading and the carboy was very warm. It took 5 or 6 hours to drop to 78 degrees...

    70% efficiency. that's should be about right, yeah? Or should I have shot for a higher efficiency?

    I know this is years late but I was hoping to make this myself. Was your original gravity really that high? Every calculator I've put this through predicts 1.054. I got 1.053 (all-grain). The IBUs also calculate higher than the post.
