    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

I am very interested in both of the collections being mentioned recently and would like to help make sure they are never lost or hard to find in the future. Maybe @zazbnf and @pdavidc could upload their collections to a filehost like this to start with: http://www.zippyshare.com/ That would...

6 Gallon Bucket with a lid that actually seals

If you are really set on having your buckets sealed then you could look into Gamma Seal Lids. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0089QJQTS/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 People use the when storing grain in buckets, they are airtight.

    Canadian Supplies

I have to agree about Chilliwack Hop Farms. Great selection and prices directly from the farm. Just picked up a half pound of the spruce tip El Dorado blend pellets. Just about ready to try a SMaSH IPA with them.

Safest light bulb heating fermenter setup

I use this ceramic heater. Its perfect. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NXZ7UMA/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 Cheap, 170W on low setting, overheat protection, tip over protection, built in fan for circulation. Honestly should be tested with a watt meter, thing doesn't generate much heat at all...

    BeerSmith, BeerTools, Or Something Else?

Another reason to vote for BrewersFriend. Web based application, so gives a consistent experience on all platforms. I use my laptop, tablet and phone all the time to both brew and design recipes without learning a new interface or missing a key feature. Am I a BF FanBoy? Sure am! :)

    BeerSmith, BeerTools, Or Something Else?

Landed on Brewers Friend myself. I like the interface the most and that its web/cloud based software. Its as advanced as BeerSmith with a much cleaner and easier to use UI.

Suggest a 48-52 qt. rectangular cooler for mash tun

Agreed. Great choice! I use that exact cooler with a simple bazooka conversion kit. Great for 5 or 10 gallon batches and REALLY keeps temps. I just brewed a 5 gallon cream ale outdoors at below 0C temperature and I only lost just about 2 degrees over an hour mash. In the summer I usually lose...

    bottles not full enough

Nice, glad we could sort it out. I would love to see a 1/2" filler with a button on the top or something instead of on the bottom, that way we could press it with the tube at the bottom and a little on the way up as we pull it out to top it off. It really does fill faster, especially on my...

    bottles not full enough

Are you using the 3/8 or 1/2 wand? I find the 1/2 is too wide and leaves space like that. The 1/2 siphon and hose is great for racking but not for bottling.
