    Brew Stand Fails!

I'm getting ready to build my first brew stand, after reading dozens of threads on here and seeing all the really creative ideas I would like to know if there was something you would have done different what would it be. A lot of the threads on here people focus in what's awesome about their...

    Cleaning New Keggle

I used to work in a body shop and we used a product made by 3M it was adhesive remover. You can find it at autoparts stores and it worked great to get the labels and old adhesive off my keggels. After I removed all the old adhesive I used a wire wheel chucked up in my drill and went over the...

    since switching to all-grain.....

I guess that's one of the great things about the hobby, you can "move forward" at your own pace, when you have the time and money and ultimately....u always have beer to show for your efforts.

    More equipment or more beer?

So with our fourth kid on its way my funds have been limited lately... so says the SWMBO anyways. So with the small amounts of cash I have for now I am torn between building a brewtus or buying ingredients and making beer. What would you do?

    since switching to all-grain.....

100% agree i recently made the switch from 5 gal extract to 10 gal all grain. I did extract for 3 years and was never 100% satisfied with the results. My first all grain batch was easily 10 x better than any extract I have made. And its the same price to make twice as much beer. Only down side...

    Brewtus 10 kits

I'm working on buying a saw that is made for cutting stainless used for ornamental applications like railings. It cuts like a wet saw and makes perfect cuts no discoloration and perfect 45's. Might make a bolt together kit. The idea was to make it easy to acquire all the steel and not have to...

    Brewtus 10 kits

So I am thinking of selling stainless steel Brewtus Ten kits. All the steel pre cut and ready to weld. Based on the prices I can buy the steel at I should be able to sell the kits for around $250.00 . Do you think many brewers would buy at that price point?

    HERMS Heat Exchanger

Bob, Maybe I need to ask a lot more questions here. Perhaps in a 15 gallon system HERMS isn't the way to go. I haven't decided on which pump to use yet that probably should have been part of the question, so any suggestions would be great. Or if you think HERMS isn't the way to go, than any...

    HERMS Heat Exchanger

Im in the process of putting together my first all grain system, a HERMS system to make 10 gallon all grain batches. Stainless for the brewtus is ordered and being cut for me by a custom fabricator now. I hope to be welding it in the next few weeks. I am using three 15 gallon keggels for hlt...

    What time do you brew?

At night. After all kids are in bed and wife has found a chick flick to watch. She hates the hobby and thinks its a waste of time & $ . I know I should have interviewed better. I start at 8-9 pm and now that I do all grain I'm up most of the night. Do clean up in the morning. I just got a new...
