Every year I get a group of guys together to compete in 5 games-darts, horseshoes, ring game, washers and target shooting. We call it Mantatholon! Basicly, we all get drunk with no SWMBO for the weekend and compete. Winners gets a trophy and two big ingraved beer mugs. Everyone gets a T-shirt...

Try a kolsch and let me know how it is. They are fairly cheap and from NB reviews sounds like a nice summer brew. I can't find any in the stores to try but I'm planning on brewing some for the wife. Make sure you get the Kolsch yeast or it will just be an ale (just from what I've read).

I do this on all my batches, I don't have a my carboy marked for volume, so the only way I know how much beer I have is to look at the bottling bucket markings. Also, my carboy has so much trub, it would be hard to estimate how much I would actualy get out. Is this bad? I'm so afraid of bottle...

My brew partner and I are in it for about 1100$. Haven't even tasted a home brew yet! But, I do have 15 gallons fermenting in my new home-made ferm chamber and 100 beers conditioning! Isn't funny when your friends want to pitch in for half of the ingredients and expect half of the beer...

Ah ha, that makes since! once the wort gets chilled the the temp probe want fluctuate as much. Can you tell that there is an increase in you power bill? SWMBO pays the bill and asked a few times if this was going to cost a lot with me replying quickly, No Mam.
