    Full Boil On Electric Stovetop???

I don't know about glass tops...I have read that it is nearly impossible to achieve a boil due to the bottom of the pot not making proper contact with the heating element...I know you cannot can anything on glass top due to the air circulation.

    Item on backorder...totally bummed out!

Well I have read on here that partial boil's leave some sort of funky taste in the beer. If you do a partial boil do you even need a wort chiller? What about transferring from the kettle to the primary...just dump or siphon or what...since the kettle would not have a ball valve.

I had been preparing to order my first equipment kit from William's Brewing for about a month now. I was waiting for their Brewer's Edge 32 quart brew kettle with ball valve to come back in stock since it is included in the package deal. The website said it would be back in stock today, I...

    Full boil question

I have always read that you need to put at least 6 gallons, you figure to have 1 gallon evaporate over an hour boil...I have also heard it depends on the size of your pot as well...as the size will determine the water evaporation rate...good luck with your busy beer weekend. Cheers!
