    hmm okey.. i used 15lb honey and 5.8 gal of water. Im a newb brewing. but i added a bit of Servomyces as a yeast energizer. and used wyest sweet mead yest. im guessing it will be okay in the end. tho in second ferm im going to add fruits and oak chips in 3 or 1 gal batches

    I'm brweing my first 5 gal batch of mead. and it came out at 1.100 considering it will ferm down to 1.000 it should have 13% right? but what is normal for mead?

    yeeah about that :P this is my second batch brewing with fresh yeast! The first one foamed all over my place after 12h, this one is foaming like hell right now :P Im gonna use Mrmalty for my xmas brew.

    Don't rally know what you Americans call those kits.. but it is hops in it an all. but you don't need to boil it! Another thing, Is there a limit to the OG before the yeast won't fully take of? (I had an OG of 1062 ish) Its been 6 days now, and i had to add a blowoff tube to my fermenter.

    Don't really know what you mean by crystal? Im only brewing kit beers you need to add water and yeast to brew beer from! :P im using the WLP400 yeast
