    Best option for non-kegged beer

Yes glass bottles. Some of my options are to put in 2 liter bottles with carb caps and carbonate now or when getting ready to drink. Put in growlers, one glass growler, one insulated stainless steel growler, or bottle - 16oz swingtops or 12oz capped.

    Keg travel

It's a 2.5 gallon keg. The next keg I travel with will be a pilsner so the plan would be to have no sediment at all. Thanks!

    Best option for non-kegged beer

Question about longevity. I recently got a stainless steel carbonation cap and have yet to use it. I make small batches (2 1/2 gallons) and only have one 2 1/2 gallon keg. If I put homebrew in 2 liter bottles and plan to carbonate using a carbonation cap - how long will the beer stay relatively...

    Keg travel

I brew small batches 2 1/2 - 3 gallons. I recently brewed a citra pale ale that yielded 2 gallons and was fairly cloudy. Once kegged and carbonated it tasted good and had a little haze to it. I only had a couple pints and saved the rest for a Father's day BBQ - so it was in the chest freezer...

    Kegged brew not staying fresh

Found this thread as I was curious how long my keg would stay fresh. My keg is 2 1/2 gallons and my last batch of pale ale only amounted to 2 gallons. I tapped it about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I've only had 3 pints so far and had decided I'd save the rest until our father's day picnic. So from what...

    Best mobile CO2 solution

I'm looking for a portable solution. Any more thoughts/insight into which of these two options is better? this or this.

    Hi from NJ

I've been brewing for a few years. I do small batch (2-3 gallons). Did some extract and now do BIAB. I was having issues with some type of off flavor that I narrowed down to bottling but never really solved. I recently got a chest freezer and kegging system and the first batch that I kegged...

    No Chill BIAB

Thanks. I just recently started kegging, maybe I'll try the balloon method.

    No Chill BIAB

This is great! I spent a couple of hours yesterday trying to cool my wort in an ice bath - I was short on ice so it took a long time. Will definitely try this filter and pitch the next day. Question - I've never really cold crashed before because of the vacuum that would suck in the air lock...
