Just did my first full boil - Question about water lost in the boil

I never add water, unless my pre-boil gravity tells me the the OG will be to high, according to my boil-off rate. Otherwise, I let it go and deal with the final volume, whatever it is!

I always used at least half an oz of coriander powder (from grocery store) and never got overpowered flavor/aroma in any of my brews..

How much does home brewing cost?

I spent around 1000 $ for equipment & ingredients since I started 18 months ago. The only thing I did not count is the electricity. I have a spreadsheet that calculated bills and volumes produced and which show trendings/averages/ etc on graphs.

    Adding honey to primary

Simply because I missed my OG because I did not boil the wort enough to concentrate it (it seems my oven is getting old and my boiloff rate is decreasing...). My grist has 17% candi sugar already and I'm looking for other fermentables than sucrose because I'm afraid of going above 20%!

    Adding honey to primary

Hi, I want to add pasteurized honey once primary fermentation is [almost] done. My only concern is about mixing the honey into the beer. Would I need to dilute the honey into hot/warm water to reduce its viscosity or should I just dump and stir to mix? Did anyone try to add honey straight...

Fine, but is only one vial enough to brew one 5-gallon batch or do you need to use more to get a proper starter?

    Adding yeast at bottling

After leaving the beer in the fridge for a week, I can easily poor the precious liquid without losing anything.. the foam (gush) starts 5 seconds after the bottle is opened, so I have enough time to poor into the glass. Using a large chalice glass gives me a 1-inch thick fine bubbles lace that...

    Adding yeast at bottling

This is exactly what I was thinking... poor attenuation at fermentation and now it is beeing refermented and gaining a bit of points. Next time I will brew my christmas beer on june to have enough time to naturally carbonate without adding fresh yeast.
