More is better, all the time, no matter what.

not arguing with that I don't disagree with brewing classic beers to style, and I love and drink many of those kinds of beers. . . but I am advocating in favor of thinking in bigger terms than what styles dictate on a creative level and a not worrying about it level. I'm a musician. If...

More is better, all the time, no matter what.

No, less is not more. Less is less. More is more! More is better, all the time, no matter what! I've been creating my own recipes for a while, after modifying kits with more hops and more malt. I'm a huge fan of BIG balance, beers that are both ridiculously hoppy and ridiculously malty...

Oops... Added too many Hops to boil

that sounds like a good idea. I really wouldn't worry about it. And anyways, more is better, all the time, no matter what! Even if you overhop a brew, with age it'll just be unbelievable and you'll have hoppier aged beers than you did before. I super overhopped a strong Belgian so by...

About LME, the "twang" taste, late addition and extract color (again).

I'm more and more convinced the only source of "twang" is from using a low quality or old malt extract, not the fact that you used malt extract.

    Double IPA with no starter

I've never had a problem with high gravity beers and I have never used a starter. You'll be fine.

Anyone Brew With Extract Only ?

both strategies - a) extract only and b) extract with steeping grains can produce unbelievable beers. The key is really to always use more hops!
