    Fruit Beer DC Raspberry Stout

I just did this with 5 lbs of frozen whole rasberries. I ended up dropping the vanilla and cocoa powder though. Tasted it prior to secondary and it was fantastic. So i opted to leave it as is and just keg it right there. I'll let it condition for a few weeks and let you know how it turns...

    Chili Black IPA

Nice! That looks almost identical to a chocolate cherry stout I did. I used extract for my cherry though. It turned out amazing. I have no doubt that will be good. simcoe and a 90 minute boil should mean got strong bitterness.

    Double White IPA

I am contemplating brewing up a double white ipa of sorts. I know this will be a bit tricky due to the nature of a white ipa but am looking for a challenge. I haven't been able to find anything on a double white ipa but was curious as to what you guys think some challenges and/or best...

    Anyone else notice...

There is always at least 1 emergency in need of fixing when bottling? Whether it be a spill, lack of caps, or lets say today's emergency where I sat the carboy down on the counter (gently mind you) and watch a crack sprawl up the side..... Don't worry, I got the beer out in time. But yeah...

Old Stone House Pale Ale (Extract)

My interpretation of this recipe upped it to 7.5 # DME and I'll be using the remaining .5 ish of sterlings and .5ish spalt to dry hop. Additionally, I used Safeale US-05 for my yeast. Plan on having this drinkable in about 20 days. I have high hopes for this beer.

Autumn Seasonal Beer Thunderstruck Pumpkin Ale (AG and Extract versions)

I am planning on brewing this in about 2 weeks. I have a question though. The extract version says it is a 5 gallon version, but then below that, it says this a 6 gallon extract + steeping grains recipe. If I decide to do a partial boil, do I top off to 5 or 6 gallons? Hope I am not asking a...

    Do you filter your beer?

I actually use a fine metal strainer. And just pour the wort through it into the bucket. Then top off if necessary. Saw an improvement in quality from doing this too.
