    Rice! Rice! Rice?

Actually the link you posted is the one i printed as the best option to use up some of this stuff. Great minds right? So you just roughly milled it, rinsed it and boiled it (not messing around with adding barley for the whole starch/enzyme thing or holding for a bit at specific temps) then...

    Rice! Rice! Rice?

I just received a bunch, a whole bunch, of plain ol' white long grain rice. It's enriched...for whatever that's worth. The question is how do I use this in a brew? Not specifically a recipe, but the actual usage of the grains. I've used flaked rice before but never regular rice. Just toss...

    A moment of silence please...

I've just learned by newsletter email that my favorite local microbrew is shutting the doors. It's called Nine G brewery and they made fantastic beer. I just bought the last six pack of Wingman from my supermarket and it is no more. Check it out if you like. http://www.ninegbrewing.com/ I...

    Quick Disconnect @ regulator/distributor Question

I meant removing the gas after pressure is achieved to prime and store not to pour. That can be done correct? Pump in some co2 and set aside until its time to drink or does the pressure have to always be there? Also thanks for the tip on different pouring pressures, i think i might go...

    Quick Disconnect @ regulator/distributor Question

I'm in the process of accumulating all the hardware for kegging. I think this forum singlehandedly boosed sanyo's 1st quarter profits with the 4912 bestbuy tips. I'm a proud new owner now too. Anyway, what is the benefit of having a barbed or threaded connection? When pressurizing the keg...

    Another Finished 4912 kegerator!

I second the request. Also anyone partial to the tower or straight through the door of a larger model? Dumb question but where a unit through the door is easily accessable (had one in college), is it painful at all to access, clean, replace hoses running up through a tower?

Ybor gold is one of my favorite brews, hope they don't go and screw it up by cost cutting the ingredients list

    Yeast Usage

more yeastees around to eat the goodness. I wouldn't use the same cake too many times...I've heard it starts to give off some funky flavors b/c of mutations. I start over after using the same dudes once.

Just tapped my Oatmeal Cream Stout - Recipe Inside

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=18206 this was mine, i tried it last weekend for the first time and I thought it was way too sweet using half the lactose as the above recipe. I also used 8 oz MD. Other than the sweetness (34) it tastes fantastic. Usually anytime i have a...
