    Disappointing El Dorado hops experiment

    I have brewed a lot with El Dorado and I work at a brewery where the brewer uses it A LOT and he has told me that El Dorado is not a stand alone hop. It is really something that needs to be accompanied by other hops to really get all you can out of it.

    My efficiency is always awful and I have tried so many things to fix it but can never really get it but what I have done to better prepare myself is i set my numbers to 65% efficiency in brewtoad and I have been able to hit those numbers pretty constantly

    Wow, thank you for all the helpful advice! I did kill a fish while fishing this weekend (swallowed the hook) so dug a hole in between my two first years and buried it. I assume that would provide me with some nitrogen for these plants as well?

    the only thing I think would be an issue is I would guess that the larger pot that is actually touching the burner would get to a boil before the smaller one and then what do you do at the end of your 60min boil for one when the other is only at 50 min

    I used a mix of green and white tea in an ipa with some clover honey it came out pretty good and have been meaning to make it again. Also I disagree with the bacon guy, I work for Rockingham Brewing company in NH and we have a belly of the beast imperial bacon stout and it is freakin awesome!
