I have ~ $250 - $300 in equipment. This includes 3 Primaries (Buckets), and is for Extracts. That cost aside, I am seeing 50 Bottles / $35 per kit. So..... 8 6-Packs (plus 2 bottles) for $35 and "fun / hobby time". So, the beer is "basically" 1/2 price! KillJoy

I have a package of this (Muntons KreamyX Beer kit Primer With Heading Powder). The package is 7oz (200g), and reads as follows: Directions: Use in place of priming sugar to carbonate 5 Imp. gallons (23L) of beer wort. Does this mean I should use all 7oz for 5 Gallons, or use an equal...

I just bottled mine today. 10 Days in the Primary. No Secondary. OG - 1.054 FG - 1.010 I mistakenly (???) doubled up on the .25 lbs carapils and .25 lbs crystal 20L. I am not certain how much of a difference this really makes, as this thing is AWESOME! Even flat it has a good flavor...

I agree! I prefer their other location (just a short drive), but they share the same beer! Their House Pale is a HUGE hit whenever I take it to parties. Their available brews change on a daily basis though :( KillJoy

I know nothing. I am 3 days into brewing my FIRST batch. Unless I have something that needs / requires VERY LONG (mead) fermentation times, I think I am only going to Primary. Even then.... who knows..... :D KillJoy
