Not really an issue but overtime if its dripping on the outside there is a risk of sweet wort collecting on the insulating layer of the mash tun. It will make the perfect breeding ground for mold/bacteria which could add the potential for off flavors.
You can get some silicon or a gasket to...
Sounds like a odd problem. I'm not sure replacing the lines would fix the issue since if it was related to a kink bad enough to stop gas flow no beer would be pushed out of the keg. I'm really at a loss as to why you're beer isn't carbing but I hit my kegs with 30 PSI to seal, purge a few times...
For my beers that have over 4oz of hops I've been using a 5 gal paint strainer that has an elastic band at the top. I haven't detected any loss in flavor or aroma but I also haven't done a side by side comparison.
Normally all the hop material isn't a problem but one of my kegs have a...
My wife bought me a Brooklyn Brew Shop 1 gallon kit on clearance for $15 for Christmas 2015. Now I can keg 20 gallons and bottle about 15. I'm trying to sell her on a hop garden and an additional pot and burner to do "2 a days"
The yeast are going to convert all available sugar they are capable of so you can end up with a lower final gravity. Things that will effect the type of sugars produced in wort depend on grain type and mash temperature. All the crystal type grains and lactose are all I can think of off the top...
I see a lot of IPAs in your future. As others have said you have the 3 C's covered. I just did a millennium and Falcon IPA that was dry hopped with 2 oz (5 gal batch) Falcon and it was total grapefruit if that's a flavor you like.
You have more stuff than what most people start with. You're good to go as long as you have all the little things. I'd highly recommend a small scale for hop measuring.
How do you plan on mashing?
Glass is cool, some swear by it, more expensive, you can see activity, maybe lower infection risk, the O2 debate with it is there but probably minimal, risk for huge mess and personal injury when it fails.
Congratulations on taking a step towards a healthier lifestyle (I know, weird on a beer forum). As other have said you can try some German and English styles that have low carbonation or maybe jump into some cask aging.
So Uncle Sam (kind of) bought me my first mill. I have been using my LHBS's mill and my efficiency was anywhere from 55% to 72%. Average was 68% unless I used any type of wheat. My wheat recipes always ended up with horrible efficiency. I'm guessing cause the grain was small enough to fall...
I had the same issue and soapy water wouldn't find it. I submerge stuff under water to look for it also with no luck. Oddly I heard mine... it was weird. My issue was on the regulator where the hose barb and an gas on/off switch was. Just needed a 1/4 turn and done.
I've only used it in 0.5 to 1 oz at a time in brews but this might be an interesting read for you.

Check out this thread, its a right up of a members review of dry hopping with 30 types of hops. It could provide you with some great info.
Things to consider:
Higher risk of infection splitting a batch in 3
Wort will need to be mixed pretty good prior to seperating cause sugar can settle to the bottom
You'll need to accurately measure yeast and dry hops to get equal amounts
Gravity readings should be similar if everything is done...
I cant see it really being different then storing harvested yeast. I've successfully used harvested yeast that was 2 months old and just fridge kept. Others have posted using year old yeast and using a stir plate to build it up. So I'd guess 5 days shouldn't be an issue.
You can try adding some Falconer's Flight hops late in the boil or a dry hop. I just recently used them for the first time and they scream grapefruit to me.
Leaving my mash tun valve open (that was in the house for winter brewing) and loosing about 2 gals of hot water on the floor and having a bottle blow in my coat closet. Now I double check the valve 3 or 4 times and if I bottle condition it goes in a plastic tub.
