If you can get your hands on some Jolly Pumpkin bottles, I have heard that their yeast strain is very hop tolerant. However if it is, might take you more sour than intended for a Gose. Just going to have to do a couple of yeast build up starters before you can pitch though.

They definitely look much shorter than a standard ball lock! I would go with liquid, but I myself would not do gas with the bad luck I have had with duotight fittings.

I used 2X10s for my collar, but I double hinged it so I can lift the lid and collar up when putting in new kegs or cleaning the bottom! Just use the freezer hinges for the bottom on the collar, then I used regular door hinges to attach from the collar to the lid.
