Terribly underrated bands that never got their dues

Kyuss is a great one. There are two 90's grunge bands I have always loved - Satchel and Sugartooth

    new to this

I do all grain batches on my glass top stove no problem. I also straddle two burners and it takes longer to boil than gas but I can do a five gallon batch in four hours. That's cleanup and everything.

Unable to take apart my corney

Take it to a shop that has worked on your car and have them put an impact wrench on it.

    What happens if ?

Yeah, for the most part honey will disappear completely. Coconut I have heard you need to roast it before you use it, and different fruits have to be used at different stages in the process to get the right flavor from them. Research the exact fruit you want to use to get an idead the different...

New to beer, would kegging this way work?

If for some reason you decide you don't like brewing, you could sell an almost new kegging set up pretty quickly and only be out about $30 or $40. I would pay that much not to have to bottle two or three batches of beer.

    Gravity Conundrum

Are you taking this reading with carbonated beer, or right before you carbonated it?

troubleshooting a few issues with my IPA

I have an IPA recipe that I am honing, and I am at 13.5% munich. This is pretty light, but it does exactly what you are talking about by getting out of the way of the hops.

What would you do? Apartment AG brewing.

I do 5 gallon full boil all brain batches on my electric stove ion my kitchen with no problems at all. You really don't need a propane burner or a heat stick. Even with the extra time it takes to heat and boil water, I can do a batch in four hours flat - that is if I forgo my glaucoma...

Help - should I get rid of this fermenting wort?

One more argument to keg instead of bottle. If you know you are going to continue brewing, get a keg set up and you will be very glad you did.

    Big Brew Day tomorrow... Thoughts?

I agree on the IBU's. A big beer with such a high FG will probably need some noticable bitterness to balance it out.

    I can't get head.

What are you washing your fermenters with? I had several problems that were solved when I quit using dishwashing liquid to wash my fermenting equipment.

    Yeast starter help

I boil the DME in water just like boiling wort, but I do it for about 3-5 minutes. Then I out it in the flask and chill it in an ice bath and pitch my yeast. These are the instructions that came with my yeast starter kit from AHS and it works great.

    Yeast Starters and Wort Oxygenation

I just listened to the Brew Strong podcast on oxygenation, and I have a question I don't think they covered. Since the oxygen in the wort is used by the yeast during the reproduction of cells, if I have made a starter a day or two before, is less wort oxygenation needed since much of the...

    Top of wort chiller exposed

That is probably fine, but I don't take a chance. It takes five minutes to starsan it, and you don't have to worry. If the part that is not submerged during the boil does not get sanitized, and then some beer splashes on it while it is cooling.........

    What size is my tank?

While that is helpful, I am thinking more in terms of a marking on the tank. When I am standing in the store ready to argue with a guy who has just filled my tank and is trying to overcharge me I cannot tell him about a graphic I saw on Google.

I don't know if I hope this works, or not.

You know, I just recently had my first all grain brew day with no problems at all, and it did not turn out as good as all the other days where at least one big problem had come up. I think that the near disaster days end up being the best. It's just the duplication that gets you.
