Brewtarget 1.2.3 - Free Open Source Brewing Software

Really? Qt is requiring you to have a compiler? I thought there was a binary-only download instead of the Qt source code.

How to refinish a spot on wood floor?

Brieuxster, thanks. Brrman, I don't know if it is aluminum oxide. Any way to tell? The wood looks like it has been here since the apt. building was built (maybe 1940s).

How to refinish a spot on wood floor?

My computer chair has slowly worn a ring of now bare wood. Can I repair this thing without having to strip the clear coat off a large area of the floor? Any tips appreciated. I don't know how this has anything to do with beer, except I sometimes drink beer in the offending chair :)

2 (minor?) Brewtarget errors with manual install

It's not a big deal, but if it bothers you, go to line 7031 in ~/.config/brewtarget and change the relevant text to "Low". The second error means something's wrong with your gstreamer installation. Have to ask someone else about that one.

Brewtarget 1.2.3 - Free Open Source Brewing Software

If you have the linux version, you can install the new version without doing anything else and you'll still have your old recipes. Otherwise, do the export database option from the File menu of 1.2.2, then after installing 1.2.3, do an import.

Brewtarget 1.2.3 - Free Open Source Brewing Software

Our developer Mik is working on the recipe display to handle larger amounts of recipes and do some other things to make it more usable. If you want to start playing around with the source, you can download it from our sourcefoge site and start tinkering! I recommend the Qt Creator IDE for...

Brewtarget 1.2.3 - Free Open Source Brewing Software

Really? They use to be like "qt-4.3.4-11.fc9.i386.rpm". I don't have a Redhat box anymore, so maybe the names for these packages are different. Is there a website where I can search through the Redhat repos?

Click the "+" button on the mash tab to add your mash steps. In the first, input the name, infusion amount, infusion temp (162 F), and target temp (156 F). Same thing for the sparge. If you don't know what amounts/temps you need, you can click the "Mash Des" button.
