    Cucumber and Coriander Wheat!

Maybe......I have an oz of Saaz too. That might be a better choice. I would like a little complexity though. I got some grains of paradise last night. I may incorporate that

    Cucumber and Coriander Wheat!

Getting excited!! I am doing a cucumber Citra Saison next weekend. I decided to go with Extra light DME for my extract. I hope it is not so light that the hops take it over. I am thinking Citra will bring out some really nice qualities and still let the cukes shine through.

    Summer Cucumber Brew

I am going to attempt a cucumber Citra Saison. Maybe a little coriander and a touch of black pepper for complexity. I just want to make sure the cukes shine.

4 Tap Kegerator...This is Like Work!!

Yeah, that is my set up too, at least up and down the stairs . I haven't moved to the garage yet but I would like to do some all grain stuff this Summer which will push me off the stovetop. I also love to BBQ in the Summer, so I see a lot of outside drinking beer all day in the backyard coming...

4 Tap Kegerator...This is Like Work!!

So, I got a used 4 tap commercial kegerator a couple of weeks back. It was only a little more than a triple new. I also wanted the extra space to try some lagering. It's great and all but now I feel like I need to keep em all pouring. This is gonna turn out to be like work! I have a...

    First Brew in 15 years

So, I started brewing in a cabin in Alaska a little over 15 years ago (not counting a gross intro in high school with zero sanitation and adding potatoes to get the ABV up, yuck). When in Alaska, I had no running water and was bottling. It got to be a total PIA so I gave it up. About a month...

    Beersmith 2.0 Calendar

Hmm, yeah, I can see that. I guess I thought of it as going into secondary 7 days after brew day, but I guess it really means 7 full days in primary, not including brew day. I guess it figures half a day for brew day and half a day for secondary. Cheers! Thanks for the replies:mug:

    Beersmith 2.0 Calendar

I am giving BeerSmith a trial run. It seems like a fantastic piece of software! However, when I enter in my brew date, it starts the Primary on the day after?? I of course go into primary the same day....Apart from fudging a day backward, is there any way in the preferences that I can tell...

    Caramel cream ale?

One more thing, I added all of the DME in the boil. Should I add more at keg time or just force carb it? Thanks

    Caramel cream ale?

So, I brewed this up last weekend as a PM. I added my lactose to the boil (4 oz). This only bubbled the airlock for about 2 days ( I realize that is no sign of anything but, just sayin) after 5 days, I have very little Kraussen. It almost looks like it's in secondary. I added 2 oz of vanilla...

Easy Partial Mash Brewing (with pics)

Hey All. Thanks Deathbrewer for offering up this technique and recipes. I am using this as we speak to complete the first brew I have done in 15 years. I borrowed your Dunkelweizen recipe and tweaked it a little. I hope all goes well. I will report back after fermentation to let you all know...
