    Lagunitas Daytime IPA Clone

Interesting. Sounds like massive late additions of those hops. Galaxy has quickly become one of my favorites.

    What are you drinking now?

Schlafly TIPA. Can't get enough. Wish it weren't a fall special release. They need yo make it year round.

I winged it today: Galaxy Pale Ale

I'm kicking around a Galaxy version of the Centennial Blonde recipe that is here on HBT. Can't get enough of this hop. I bet your brew will be tasty!

    What are you drinking now?

Great Divide Fresh Hop and Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro. I think I enjoy the normal Left Hand Milk Stout.

    What are you drinking now?

SN Celebration Ale. I'm on the fence about it. All I get from the hops is bitterness. Doesn't meet expectations, but quaffable.

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I may just start by replacing the cascade with galaxy.

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Has anyone tried this with some Galaxy hops? I'm thinking a Columbus/Galaxy combo here.

Much like ICWeiner, the reply I got was that the hops they used were proprietary. They would not release any details on the recipe until they have it nailed down. This leads me to believe that they will be playing around with this recipe a bit.

Worst Commercial Beer You've Ever Had?

This. I drank a sixer and the hangover from hell.

    Lagunitas Daytime IPA Clone

Absolutely. I'm drawn to the (and I hate the use of this word when talking about hops and beer) "dank" properties that are so so strong in this brew.

Actually emailed the brewery this morning. I'm loving the avatar. Go Cards!

That recipe is interesting. I'd probably try to make it without the wheat extract, and 6 lb total Golden LME. I'd be interested in maybe a 30 min. addition with emphasis on a variety that really gives off that herbal quality. I'm seeing that mentioned with Nugget and Chinook. Perhaps an addition...

    Lagunitas Daytime IPA Clone

I've had the Sumpin' Sumpin', and I feel like it's alright. I find myself enjoying Boulevard's 80-Acre a little more. I feel like it's a bit more true to its wheat beer roots. I think I'm gonna base it off of the Centennial Blonde recipe that is established on this site: 5 lbs Extra Light...

    First beer brewed

I brewed this kit for my first brew as well. It was extremely forgiving, and quite tasty. Make sure you give it enough time in the bottles!

    Lagunitas Daytime IPA Clone

I tried this beer last week, and I absolutely love it. I would love to take a stab at an extract version of this. Being lower in alcohol and pretty light bodied and on the thin side, I'm sure the grain/extract side of things is fairly simple. However, I can find no information for a hop schedule...

Yet another Autumn Beer input thread

Brewed this up today with two major changes: Hop Schedule was Hallertau for 60, Saaz for 15, Fuggles at flameout. I went out of my comfort zone on the yeast, and decided to try out BRY-97. It appears to be very forgiving of higher ferm temps. I'm looking forward to this one!

    steeping grains question

I have always steeped in 4 gallons of water. I've done both ways, both by maintaining 155* for 20 minutes and by putting them in room temp water and removing when the temp hit 155*. Couldn't tell any difference either way.

Yet another Autumn Beer input thread

Hey all. I just wanted to throw this recipe to see what you all think. I don't have any of the software to see how dark this will turn out or IBU's. 6 lb Light DME 2 oz. Chocolate Malt 2 oz. Special B 8 oz. 80L 2 oz. Roasted Barley 1 oz. Hallertau (60) 1 oz. Fuggles (15) Nottingham...

    Caribou Slobber

I hate to necromance this thread, but I just opened a Caribou Slobber that was in primary for 4 weeks, then 2 weeks in bottles. I will have to say that it is a bit on the watery side, though it seems that it has the potential to be a nice change of pace session beer. I used Windsor for my brew.
