    Painting my Keggles?

I was just weighing the cost of materials to polish vs painting and it seems I can paint them cheaper and still attain some uniqueness to my build. I am not sure how long it takes per keg to polish, but I am sure at my garages temp of 115 degrees, it is longer than I wanna spend :p

    Painting my Keggles?

Why not on a burner setup? I would think that 1500-2000 degree paint would hold up to indirect heat. Just curious:) Doh, just found this https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/painting-hlt-114605/

    Painting my Keggles?

Hello all, I did my customary search on the topic and didn't find anything, so here I am to ask the question. Is painting my keggles a good idea or a bad idea? I am working on a limited time / budget for my brew stand setup and I wanted to polish my keggles, but time and money will not allow...

    Bayou Brew Kettles?

Hello all, I did my customary search and turned up nothing on HBT about these kettles. So, has anyone purchased from http://bayoubrewkettle.com/index.php?route=common/home? If you have purchased from them, how was the quality of the kettle? Thanks, Wrecked

    My Mini-Brutus build....questions

Hello all, I have started gathering the materials for my brutus and I had a few questions. 1. Will 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 x 1/8 steel tubing be sufficient? I am building this brutus for 5gal batches, so I won't be working with the weight of 10gal batches. 2. What is the difference between...

Retired Kegs.....How did you get yours?

Seems as though I may be s**t outa luck. I talked to the beer delivery guy in the grocery store parking lot and he told me that as far as he knows all their kegs are the "plastic" type:( Oh well, I will just have to buy kettles to fit my needs:mug:

Retired Kegs.....How did you get yours?

I am collecting the parts and pieces needed for my Mini-Brutus and I was wondering how most of you acquired your kegs? I called my local dist and they acted like I was crazy? Which I am, but that is a different story:ban:

To Puree or not to Puree?

My understanding is no, as long as the beer has reached full fermentation. Any of the guru's feel free to correct me. I was also under the impression that the SG goes up .010 for every pound of fruit added, which is the reason a blow-off tube may be needed.
