Picnic Taps. Am i A Bad person?

Well, if it works for you, why change? You could even install a super long beer line and never have to get up to get another beer again! Me, I do like my picnic tap for when I want to cheat and tap a keg that is still in the lagering keezer.

Hello from the Great White North

Hello from Montreal! Don't miss out on the How to brew book. Seems big but half of it is for references. And the other half is everything you need to know, explained simply, to brew good beer. Also check out Ontario beer kegs or Toronto Brewing co, that's where I found most of my stuff online...

    Kegging vs bottling

Time saving. Less cleaning. Less time to wait before the beer is ready( can be fully carbonated in few days). Having beer on tap at home. Possibility to do closed transfer and minimizing oxydation.

The tracking shows everything went in the local post office at the same time, but only the small items got delivered. Waited a week before a small 5'2" postgirl(?) brought me the bags. The others...

    What are you drinking now?

Birra Moretti lager. My go to "commercial" beer. Cant find a clone recipe and it makes me a bit sad. I don't want to clone commercial beers but I'd like to know what's in it.

10# CO2 filled this morning, exploded in my living room.

When I got back to the shop, they unscrewed it and showed it to me. There's a kind of three ply disk inside that hold up pressure. This disk got destroyed. They replaced it and put the screw back, then charged me 8$(Canadian monopoly money) for the disk but didn't charge me for the filling of...

    Adding Tang to Beer

I'm guessing that someone who would add tang to beer couldn't keep the hops aroma more than two days.

10# CO2 filled this morning, exploded in my living room.

Mine has it. And I sure damn well weighted it when I got back home. I might even buy the anvil scale for that purpose. Will also help with weighting grain and closed transfers.
