Grain Mill stand - Show me what you did!

Monster 2 Roller Mill, Harbor Freight 1/2" drill, and a cheap shelf from the Local Ace Hardware. She ain't pretty but she's been going strong for a long time.

    Whats your white whale?

My NEIPA is great out of the conical. Getting it to taste great in the keg after a day or two is my white whale for sure.

Show us your fugly-azz CO2 tank

If I swap, I make sure it's aluminum for aluminum. Gas places like replacing your pretty tank for a rusty cheap steal tank that will leave rust stains everywhere....

What are the best Cincinnati breweries?

Several nice breweries in Cincinnati. But the one that made an impression was definitely Rhinegeist. Yes it's usually packed. But there is a reason for that. The roof top bar is nice and usually less crowded. (At least the times I've been there)

Need clarification on "No brew before the boil."

Like most "rules" that one is made for breaking. Wait for the boil? Not sure that's ever happened here.....

Discuss: Warranty Periods, Good Faith Ethics, Statutes of Limitations.

Sucks you have to deal with people like this Bobby. You and your company have always been upfront and decent to me. As stated above, there's always gonna be these folks, especially with retail.

I have a 20 gallon MLT from SS and I'm using the Blichmann 20 gallon. Fits perfect and is not prone to bending.

Ss brewtech mash tun temp problems

I'm usually in the high 70s. Is that high for my system? I have no idea. But for me, knowing what I consistently get is what helps you make a good recipe/beer. On a side note, I, like many have replaced the cheap flimsy false bottom that lets grain through with a Blichmann. It fits and is a...

    Coconut milk in beer?

As quoted, coconut water works, not sure about milk.

    Amoretti

They keep coming up on my feed as well. I've never used them, but have used Apex Flavors (they are local and have found that a lot of breweries use them). Apex Flavors I can attest that the Peanut butter (with chocolate or not) is very good. A plus is they sell in large and small volumes...

    Dry hopping

IMHO certain beers are just "bleh" without dryhopping. IPAs and Pales especially. I wouldn't fret about oxidation while adding hops into your fermenter (unless it's a NEIPA), there are many more dangerous opportunities such as packaging. I've seen professional brewers dryhop from buckets on a...
