    Washing /harvesting Wyeast 1968

    I am trying to harvest the high flocculant Wyeast 1968. From the image, please can someone tell me what is the yeast and what is the trub? Is it yeast on the bottom?

    I use 1.256/1 and it turns out lovely( 80%) I found that the higher I go the worse my efficiency gets. Your equipment may be different.

    Thanks for your reply. It answers my question perfectly. I think the whole bottling thing is gonna wear thin very quickly and I am already looking into bulk storage and distribution. Could this type of beer be stored in a polypin and pulled by a pump?
