    Looking out my window at work in Eden Praire, MN. BLOWING SNOW ?!?!? WHAT THE?? Tomorrow I am building a raised bed/hop trellis. It's gonna be 20' long by 3' wide and about 2' high. This snow in May thing is SUPER weak. supposed to warm up Sunday for good (crossing fingers) :mad:

    that was my thinking exactly. the weird thing was, you know when your wort first starts to boil you get a lot of of foam that rises up, then after a couple minutes of boiling it goes away? well that happened, but then when the wort was re-circulating through my plate chiller and chilling down...

    +1 to GL Hops! I got the 7 Crowns I ordered plus 1 'Crystal' hop crown. Cant wait to get em in the ground! Anyone know anything about Crystal Hops ?? Never heard of them.

    Recieved my order a few days agao, got them potted last night (still waiting for snow to melt in MN). I ordered 7 crowns - 3-Columbus 3-Glacier & 1-Nugget. They threw in an extra "Lucky Dog" crown of the Crystal variety.
