    olympic fever...anyone caught it?

Im a huge fan of the olympics, though i dont really care about the sports during non-olympic years. I love watching bobsledding, curling, downhill skiing and pretty much anything else thats on. Its just fun to watch a lot of sports you rarely get to see. Also it kills some time in between...

What do you hear when you tell prople you Home Brew?

when i first told my buddies that i was gonna brew beer they either asked why i would bother with all that trouble or that they have tasted a homebrew and it was crappy and said they'd rather just stick with a 12 pack of bud. Well i took a few of my homebrews to my buddies house last weekend...

    If you couldn't.......

What a tough question. Mine would have to be a Bell's of some sort, maybe the third coast ale or kalamazoo stout, both are delicious.

    comic book?

The X-Men was my comic of choice back in the day, i still have 'em all but havent pulled them out in YEARS. Spidy rocked, never much of a batman/superman fan. Always liked the punisher from the non super power group.

hahaha, o man, genius! Back to the topic at hand...I've pretty much gotten all of my friends enthralled with the idea of homebrewing. All it took was a sample of my IPA and they wouldnt stop asking questions, actually got a "homebrewing party" coming up. Basically gonna drink and replenish...

    4 Types of Trappist Ales

Ive had the Westmalle dubble, and i must say that it is a magnificent brew. I pick one up every now and then. I may be biased towards it since it was my first trappist, but either way i will continue to enjoy it for years to come

I hope to get at least two more done before the end of March which is when I will have to give up brewing for a...

    Crushed Grain in Freezer

Is it necessary to store crushed grain in the freezer in between uses? Or will a cool dry place work also?

    Got a Q for ya

I was at my local homebrew shop putting together a recipe which called for a certain amount of liquid extract. The guy who was helping me said that since it was an odd amount that i would be better off with one can of liquid, and then a bag of dried. I didn't really think about this till now...
