Hey everyone, just wondering about the Old milwuakee 102 PH meter. It says it has ATC for up to 120F. So can i get accurate readings as long as i chill my mash below 120? or should i still chill to room temp to take my reading?

i just tried using a chugger pump, and it barely turned my ball, so i ordered a 1/2 HP utility pump off e bay for 100 bucks shipped. Ill let u guys know how it goes. Itll be nice to use it for making a kegwasher too.

but it woild be awesome to get a diagram to use this for heating though, so i could use it to control my HERMS instead of unhooking my STC 1000 from my fermenting chamber everytime. Anyone use this and have a diagram?

i have this controller, but i only use it for my keezer so im not sure about the heating, it works decent though, bin using it for a year

I would just pour out what mr malty says for your beer, and just put it right in without rinsing it, ive done it quite a few times, 180ml sound like enough for a 10 gallon batch.

ive always went by mr maltys calculator set on slurry and had no problems with under/over pitching, so what im really asking is, should i expect the same viability from the 6 weeks frozen slurry as a 6 weeks in the fridge slurry? thanks for the reply!

im not positive, but pex is only good for up to 170 or 180

american bulldog, umm thats a pitbull. I have a brindle pitbull and she looooooves beer. She knows when ive had too many and always stays close waiting for the inevitable spill.
