The Google rule isn't to stop you from searching for locations on Google via search terms, e.g. sacred mountains Mongolia. It is to stop you from using Googles Image Search feature where you upload the posted image and find the website where the image came from.

It is because at neutral or basic pH, there is an excess of OH¯ (hydroxide) ions that readily react with Zinc to form insoluble Zn(OH)² that precipitates out. An acidic pH keeps that from happening too much.

Have a look for a product called ChemSan, I see it on several home brew online stores in the UK. Looks similar to the StarSan and Acidisan products, dilutes 10ml to 5l of water and should have a similar longevity to StarSan.
