    Fruit Beer Blood Orange Hefeweizen

I'm planning on brewing this with 3068 for more of a hef character. i was not going to use the 2nd yeast because it seems like the initial yeast would be so dominant that it would be a waste to add the extra yeast. Any opinion on my plan? Thanks.

Winter Seasonal Beer Christmas Ale (Great Lakes Clone)

OK, thanks. I think I'll throw them in the hop spider anyway to avoid any complications.

Winter Seasonal Beer Christmas Ale (Great Lakes Clone)

Question on cinnamon sticks: Do they float, or sink? If I'm adding to the boil and they sink I guess I'll add them to my hop spider to not clog the drain pipe, otherwise I'll just throw them onto the boil. Thanks.

    Beersmith Mobile iPhone/iPad

Does the Beersmith app sync everything to my Beersmith 2 version on my Mac computer? i.e. if I am brewing at a different location, or create a recipe on my ipad, will all my new info be saved onto my Beersmith 2 file on my computer?

    Another infection thread

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm just worried because this fermentation seems to be out of the norm for me. I'll RDWHAHB!

    Another infection thread

Just worrying a little bit today. I brewed a 7% IPa 6 days ago w/ washed us 05 w/ starters (very typical for me with no problems). I'm still getting co2 bubbles every 3 seconds from my blowoff. Seems like i usually get a 2-3 day strong co2 blowoff then it slows way down by day 6. It still looks...

    Water filter micron size??

What size micron filter do most use? I've seen 100 micron down to .5 micron. What is necessary for brewing mash water filtering? I currently use straight from the tap & seems to be good. Always looking to improve though. Thanks.

How do you make "cold brewed" coffee? Can i just brew A cup of coffee normally, & dump it in at kegging?

Clone Beer Founder's Breakfast Stout Clone

I was under the impression the longer you leave the beer on the yeast the better. It gives the yeast a chance to "clean up after themselves", is the quote i seem to remember hearing over and over.....no? Thanks for the advice.

Reusing yeast cake from a "big"ish beer

Planning on reusing a US-05 yeast cake from an IIPA @ 8% with a Founders Breakfast Stout @ 9.7%. 2 Questions: 1.) Will the yeast be too stressed form the 8% IIPA? 2.) How does one remove Dry Hop bags from a better bottle when trying to save the yeast cake?

Clone Beer Founder's Breakfast Stout Clone

Would it be acceptable to ferment this for 2 months & then rack it to a keg for 3-4 months stored at room temp? (75F)

Clone Beer Founder's Breakfast Stout Clone

sorry if this has been answered earlier in the thread. I've read about about 12 pages & can't read anymore! How long does this need to age in the fermentor? I don't know if i can wait over 2 months! Thanks for the help.
