    Equipment Wanted

Thanks. I would have never thought to check staples for a pot. I will check it out. I would prefer stainless but if the price is right I could probably start with aluminum.

    I think I over carbonated

Thanks. I will try placing the keg in a garbage can of ice and hooking it up to my jockey box set up. I will see if that works better tomorrow. I was just wanting to test it out before the weekend.

    I think I over carbonated

I don't have a place to keep my keg cold so I have placed it in my cold storage. I think that it might be colder in there than I thought. I thought it was 65 turns out it is closer to 65. I had my CO2 set for the 10 degree higher temps. I vented the keg, reduced the PSI to 10, hooked up a...

    Equipment Wanted

I thought I would update this list since I have since picked up a few things, but have also discovered I am in need of a few things I originally neglected on my list. 10-15 gallon brew kettle Wort Chiller CO2 Regulator/CO2 tank (I have a set up but would like a spare.) Mash...

    My Jockey Box Rebuild

Thanks. I imagine I will most likely get rid of the soda faucets at some point. I have cleaned 2 of them, still need to clean the other 2. Ideally I would love to trade them for some beer faucets.

    Bar Rebuild

Stumbled across this thread. I wonder if the bar was ever finished? That manky looking original bar was basically identical to the one at my fraternity house. My senior year we also rebuilt it. Unfortunately we didn't have any home brewers at the time so it was always just Keystone Light or...

In Utah Should I plant yet??

I orders my rhizomes online. They have been in the fridge for a few weeks.

In Utah Should I plant yet??

So for those of you in Utah, particularly along the Wasatch Front, should I plant the rhizomes yet? The weather has been so nice that I want to get them out. I am going to have them in whiskey barrels along the South side of my house. I have already attached support up to the top of my house...

    My Jockey Box Rebuild

Well I'm also not sure why the images aren't showing up. I'm hosting them in photo bucket and am using the insert image button and copying the URL. Anyways just in case they start to work when all was said and done after cleaning 20 year old soda out of the lines and chill plates I ended up...

    My Jockey Box Rebuild

So I was at a thrift store a while back and came across this old beat up coleman cooler than had some plastic taps labeled for soda. I go over to it and open it and it is full of hoses, post fittings, a regulator, and at the bottom a grungy looking 5 pass chill plate. So for $10 I figured...

Any Brew Shop North of Salt Lake City?

So a bit of an update for those brewers in the far north. I was down in Salt Lake this weekend and stopped in at Salt City Homebrew Supply. It turns out that they have put in an offer on a place on 23rd in Ogden and plan on having a shop open this summer.
