You can use a thermowell to get a reading of the fermenting wort, then you can really dial in your temps to whatever you want using a temp controller like inkbird.

To deal with foaming issues, people use insulation, copper pipes or and a cooling line. All of which requires more space than just 1.5 inches. I personally gave myself the room to grow additional taps.

So i brewed this yesterday and missed the target OG of 1.064. I ended with 1.060 due to about a half gallon of extra water volume in the wort. Now im wondering how much these 4 points in gravity will affect my beer. Should i be worried?
