    Element adapter for l6-30

Dland-first, I’d like to thank you for engaging me. I appreciate your time. After reviewing the item you linked, I think I haven’t properly conveyed my intent. I have a cable to run from the element to the plug. I’m good on power. What I’m looking for is a housing that goes over the connection...

    Element adapter for l6-30

Right. What I’m looking for is the protective housing that goes over the connection like the attached pic. Everything I’ve seen requires a twist on element and like you, my element has an l6-30 male end.

    Keezer lid design ideas needed

I think what youre describing was done in a recent issue of BYO featuring a reader’s home setup. I’m about a month or two away from starting that build myself. I will look up the article (I’ll need to find it again for my own reference anyways) and post back which issue to find it.

That’s the exact element I currently have. What do you use to protect the connection? Or is yours just open?

    Hosehead Brewery

I was fully prepared to by a hosehead until Corey went on hiatus. I’m now preparing to pull the trigger on a Blichmann Brew Commander.

    Element adapter for l6-30

I have been collecting parts for my brewery for awhile now. I have a l6-30, 1.5” element and extension cord that are both past the return window from amazon. After the purchase, I’m realizing the importance of an element adapters and all the ones I have seen require a screw in element and hard...

Spike Conical- observations and best practices

I know the spike prv topic buried this, but I also was interested in your answer about using this on carbed beer. I never considered using it as I figured it will be a foamy mess trying to keg carbed beer through it. Thanks.

    Hosehead/Brewtronix users

Reading these posts the last week or two has me believing The Brew Commander is a better choice for me than waiting for the new Hosehead as I have less than zero programming capability.

Training Wheels Berliner - good intro to sours

Amoretti is now marketing their line of “craft purées” specifically to brew with. Just FYI. Are they actually better to work with beer or just a new way to market an existing product? Honestly don’t know.

    Hazelnut extract options?

I’ve liked Torini toasted hazelnut (different from hazelnut). If memory serves, about an oz per gallon.
