    I've had a lager on my mini brew for 2 weeks. The fermentation was completed in 4 days but i've kept it in the minibrew and dumping the yeast for 2 weeks but i am done dumping all the yeast. Is 2 weeks enough to keg or should i leave it longer for ageing..

    Confused trying to adjust pre-boil gravity

    is just me but I only check gravity after boil and chilled. Can the boil make the gravity go up? I dont use a bag for my hops and sometime when I take a sample for my gravity check i see alot of hop in the gravity scale, can this affect the gravity?

    What is Single Infusion Mash?

    What are the steps? I keep reading all these recipes that call for a single infusion mash. I havent made alot of AG beers just 3 and I have made them all the same way (mash for 60 to 90mins then sparge with 170 degree water).

    My OG was higher than the recipe..

    My OG of my lageer was higher than the recipe I bought from Midwest. Not sure what I did wrong? I followed the instructions that came with the AG kit. Did I get a better efficiency?

    the total recipe grain was 12lbs...my strike water was 10 quarts at 176..I now know that I should have had more water...but thank you guys these are all good suggestions that I did not think of....Thank you.
