    Aluminum SCUBA tank Conical?

Have you seen the fire extinguisher beer dispenser?? It would require a dip tube, faucet, the ability to pressurize and probably a handle...

    Another fermentation chamber :)

I would go with the heat pad. You can place it under the fermenter or wrap the fermenter. The light would not be my top choice because you want the chamber to be free of light to protect the yeast.

What do i do with this stuff?

Convert the eye wash container into a keg. Put a tap in place of the eye ball washer and it will be the perfect height!! A 5 gal bucket of ice should keep it cool. Give the stainless steel bowl to you wife...

    my "garbagerator" build

This reminds me of a smoker that a friend made out of a steel trash can... Very creative!!

    Pneumatic Bottle Capper - Just...because.

I don't usually bottle beer, but if I did... I'd use a pneumatic capper!! Nice work!!

    My Brewtroller Build

Looks great!! Have you done the cost analysis to determine whether the brewtroller is cheaper than using other control systems like PIDs?? Or was the decision to use the brewtroller based on features you desired?

Draft Beer Porn in a Canoe

Awesome set up!! The build looks like just as much fun as the event itself... And the Ford truck full of kegs is EPIC!! The coconut porter caught my eye.. Any chance you have that recipe?

    Star San soaking tray

I thought star san required 3 minutes of contact time?? I do agree that it doesn't matter whether it is liquid or foam... I error on the side of caution when it comes to sanitization!!

    NorthernBrewer Bourbon Barrel Porter

I use starters for all of my brews and I always see activity start within the first 4-8 hrs. In the future, I'd recommend you let your wort sit for 24 hrs in your fermenter in a cool, dark place before pitching your yeast... It gives the yeast less temp variation, which they seem to prefer...

Modifying a stock pot for kettle cooling (with illustrations)

At a very basic level, remove port 6 from the top of your chiller so that the chiller can be taken out of the way during recirculation and boil. You will want to cover the pot during recirculation with a top to hold in the heat and maintain temperature. Also, pick up a pump that is suitable...

Very nice work. I like the patina of the old wooden box!!!

    Please critique my HERMS workflow

Your system flow makes sense to me. I've seen some people using the herms coil as a counter flow chiller, passing the beer through the copper while emerged in an ice bath (hlt). This might only make sense if you don't already have a plate chiller... Nice diagrams!! Where do you plan to get...

    Temp controller made in USA

Control Products is out on MN. They require some wiring but I am very happy with mine... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0057APQIY/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

Do you consider the order of drinking?

I try to start with a lighter beer especially when eating as the bigger beers tend to fill me up and ruin my palette for the others I might try... Sometimes I lose track of dinner and the beer menu consumes me and I get that big beer that looks tasty!!

Mechanical Engineer for a diesel engine manufacturer

    Fuzzy Logic Brewery

Very nice build. I like the drawer slides on the pumps so they can be pulled out for connections but pushed back out of the way so you aren't tripping over them. Oh, and I think you need a larger CO2 tank or oxygen tank... ;)

Installing ball lock gas post onto a sanke keg?

That set up is a lot more simple than what I had pictured in my head. I may have to build one of these!!

Pulling a hole for tri-clamp fitting

Is there a general rule of thumb for how large a hole should be drilled for the final diameter? I am surprised you do not split the SS...

Pulling a hole for tri-clamp fitting

This is a very slick technique!! Just so I am clear, the all thread is roughly 7/8" in diameter and the largest, smooth section of the cone plug is 1 3/8" to match the diameter of the triclover fitting??
