I have a sanke coupler or tap here but I have no idea if it's a type D or what? How can I tell the difference between them or if I have a type D sanke? I've looked online for detailed pictures but am having a hard time finding good info. Thanks

Sure is! only mod I have done besides adding the scope was putting a nicer butt pad on it, it's a gel type instead of the hard rubber stock one. LOL, this made me laugh!! Thanks

Hi guys, a few days ago I took out the Savage 110 BA 338 Lapua and attempted the 2500 yard shot. So I placed the target at 2530 yards or 1.43 miles away, at that distance the bullet flight time is almost 4.5 seconds! Made a short video that I think you guys will enjoy. Thanks for watching...

It definitely get's tough trying to see targets 500 yards and beyond. What helps out a little is the front sight post on my Mosin is tapered down to a fine point, the stock sight post is really wide.

I'll probably just add an extra pound of sugar, i don't have any extra DME or LME on hand right now. When do I add the sugar before the boil, during, or after? Thanks for the help everyone!

It will be a light wheat beer, will be using around 10 lbs lme for a 10 gal batch. I was hoping to get away with it because the nearest brew store is about 3 hours away.

That's some good shooting at 200 yards there! Well if you go with the 338 lapua the savage is a good choice. Ok so the only mods I did was get a 30 MOA scope base from Ken Farrell, and I also installed a barrett M98b butt pad on it too. The stock butt pad is ok but not as nice as the thick gel...

It does have a nice kick to it, but the extra thick butt pad helps a lot. It's a sharper jolt instead of a nice push like how the 50 BMG recoils. And your correct about the reloading, it is the only way I can really afford to shoot this rifle. Thank you for the kind words!
