    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

Hello. Has anyone rewired a Klarstein All in One using BrewManiac ? It has basically 2 Heating Elements and a Pump. I guess I should declare the 1800W as Sparge Heating and the 700W as the Heating and I'm good to go ? I want to add a motorized paddler as well. I'm thinking about putting it...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

@inhuman How did you install CBPi3 ? Best possible way is using the BrewChef fork : BrewChef/craftbeerpi3 He corrected all missing dependencies etc etc. But this looks a lot like "pythonhosted.org' being down.

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Sorry, my screenshot is misleading. That's what I had when I started. It ended up being a righteous 2.2.2[master](3deb66b)ZeSlammyEdition (well this bit is missing )

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Start Sort of finished but with the incomplete tag Restarted, entered Wifi Config, worked. Anyway, the one I have in fermentation is updated as well as the 2 I built in advance. I still got 5 to build, I'll flash them straight to 2.2.2 :D

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Quick question about the RJ45 Socket. I ordered "the same" as the one on the BOM for @LBussy PCB but they won't fit. I mesure 9.35 mm between "feet" for the socket, the one I received is more around 12 something I think I need something more around these lines

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Quick question about OTA. It should work from a 2.1.1 to 2.2.1 ? I have the Firmware Update in Progress page, waits for more than 5 minutes but nothing happens ... Any idea ?

    Put a BAT43 between RST & D0 Load a simple DeepSleep sketch void ICACHE_RAM_ATTR handleInterrupt(); void setup() { Serial.begin(74880); //Serial.setTimeout(2000); // Wait for serial to initialize. while(!Serial) { Serial.println("..."); } // Deep sleep mode for 10 seconds...

    iSpindel help?

Which version of the plugin are you using ? Try This One Also, you just need to choose CraftBeerPi as the service and yes, just the IP address.

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

@AlbinoRaven : Might be an issue with the iSpindel itself ! - Switch into configuration mode - change the refresh rate to something super short like 10 seconds - Get out of config. - iSpindel should then flash the LED solid the time needed to go to sleep then 10 or so seconds later flash once...

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

First,I'd upgrade to a 6.4.1 or 6.5. Better equation, better calibration taking "roll" into account. Then I'd double check the formula you entered. Make sure it's all there. Make sure it's less than 100 chars. If needed, trim it a bit (you don't need 9 digits precision on all 4 a*tilt^3 + b *...

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

If you used the calibrate function, then you need to run a "new" calibration (water, water with sugar, water with more sugar etc) to make sure your polynomial approximation function is still coherent with your iSpindel. Once you run a calibrate function, you should check if it's at 25+/-1...

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

for the Gyro, I have no test method apart from mounting it on an iSpindel :/ For the D1, I agree, real Lolins are a good way to go. What I found out is that there are more issues with "all in one" (ESP12X type) than with "proper PCB"

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

Today I : - Test all my Gyros - Flash the D1 with a simple sketch that test for deep sleep - Mount my iSpindel fully and make sure it works That's a pain :(

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

Hey guys. Anyway we can start a WhiteList / BlackList of suppliers (mainly Ali Express ones) who carry bad/good batches of D1, Gyros etc ? I just tested 32 D1 Minis for the DeepSleep "bug", 28 out of 32 were bad ... I would hate for this to happen to someone else ...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

I might fool around with the STL now that I have a 3D printer. I agree that it's definitely hard to get a smooth sliding in place. Also, I sometimes completely lose bubbles counting, as soon as I slightly move the BB in place, it comes back. Tinkering with my iSpindHUB Wifi Repetiter (basically...
