    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

I heavily used what you've done with BrewBubbles here : ZeSlammy/iSpindHub It's not finished yet but if you wanna join forces ...

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

With your latest modification, it works just fine with Dual Heater mode. I retrofitted a Klarstein Brauheld Pro with a BrewManiac system, it's working super fine Thanks again for everything you do for the community !

Have you tried changing the baud rate at which putty dialog with the "solid blue" one ? You remove the battery when you soldered ? (Silly question but I fried one iSpindel not doing that )

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

So what is the situation on the one you are trying to flash ? All elements are presents ? You put in a new Gyro ? Putty sends data to the serial port ? Gibberish means you might not have the proper speed to dialog with your iSpindel.

I added this in pins.h and when I compile with SecondaryHeater, I know have 3.3 on D8. Is this normal ? #if SecondaryHeaterSupport == true pinMode (AuxHeatControlPin, OUTPUT); setSecondaryHeaterOut(LOW); #endif

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

OK I rechecked everything, doing everything back step by step. I ckecked my BC337s, my diods, my Rs,nothing fried. My issue is that nothing happens on the D8 Pin of the D1 Mini when I trigger ACT3/Secondary Heater. On D7, I have the 0 to 3.3V trigger happening, same on D5 for the pump. But D8...

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

Ok quick update (and call for help). I get it all up and running, have a dual heater setup. Pump work, Heater 1 get 11 or so volts on the HTR/ACT1 and LED. But when I am in BOTH or Heater 2 only, I only got something like 3 Volts on the SHTR/ACT3 & LED outputs. Did I swap resistors ?

Is CraftbeerPi still available or is there a better option?

@rkhanso CBPi4 is still in pre release, more for tinkering than ready to roll

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

That's the one I VS-Coded onto the system. I might be a victim of the "Wifi settings" bug. Too bad the logging isn't verbose :( What I don't get is that I should be able to connect to the Brewpiless APN and then navigate to the settings page right ? Edit : ok I needed to shut down the mobile...

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

I might :/ What I want to use is this project (BrewPiLess) I got a board that is indeed from the BrewPi Project Nevertheless I thought it would work ... Edit : It's "up" but all I got is a brewpiless network... And when I connect to it there is nothing I can do (192.168.4.1 just dies on me)...

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

    Soooo ... I finally built up my BrewPiLess / BrewPi-8266 based on @LBussy 's PCB, printed a 3D enclosure and everything and ... no dice :( I flashed manually, I flashed using BrewFlasher but all I got is 16:46:27.383 -> 16:46:27.383 -> ets Jan 8 2013,rst cause:2, boot mode:(3,6) 16:46:27.383...

Out of maybe 100 iSpindels I built so far, I had ONE pelting with a dent in the lid. They are otherwise pristine. That being said, not sure it matters, it just means extra cleaning.

Is CraftbeerPi still available or is there a better option?

It seems like Manuel and CherryPhil will have some soon (Europe though). In the meantime some of us are working on boards too. Will post here when done.

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

I just bought that : https://www.reboul.fr/storage/0000309c.pdf I might have to bend some pins but I guess it should do the trick. Edit : It did. Moving forward.... Haven't connected a screen though Edit 2 : Screen connected, Got Web, attached to Network, can do stuff. Can't see anything on...

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

OK for the life of me I cannot find a 7805DT in TO252 package. What should be the specs for the voltage regulator ? 5V output. What should be the max I output ? Is 100 mA enough ? Shall I go to 1500 mA ?

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Nah, I'm evangelizing people to get a better knowledge of their yeast through BrewBubbles (lag, link between activity and bubbles, bubbles triggered by dry hopping etc). Well I also have built 10 and I am not using them all so I sell some of them :D

Just a heads up, LittleBock (a Frebch BrewFather like website) is now accepting BrewBubbles

This in English might be slightly more useful : Floaty hydrometer : Wireless Electronic Hydrometer & Thermometer

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

Floaty is the way I think, with a 3D printed something. Thing is you can't get an iSpindel working without the temp sensor I think

@Singing Indurain (love that nickname) : It's a Klarstein then ? Looks promising for what I want to do :D
